Hey there! I decided some time late last year that I wanted to do a 365 daily sketchbook challenge. Being the middle of summer, about the time that I discovered the inspiration for this project, it didn't seem an appropriate time to begin a daily project. For whatever reason, the first of the year seemed more appropriate. For a while, I was away from deviantArt and forgot about the project, but it was nearly the end of the year when I remembered the project again. We're ten days into the New Year, and actually, just yesterday, I scanned all of the pages I had to that point. I've also decided that as well as daily sketches, I want to take so

Now there are three semesters between myself and graduation, which means that I'm thinking hard about thesis. Since I began college, I knew what I wanted to present at my thesis: Ball jointed dolls. So I practiced and studied really hard. I worked hard to learn anatomy and how to draw and sculpt the body, and how to engineer these complex works of art. I'm proud to announce that, by some miracle, I learned how to sculpt a 'bare bones' doll in under two weeks. Finer tuning of the joints, obviously takes a little extra time.
